Welcome to Winnie-Stowell Volunteer Fire Department
The Winnie-Stowell Volunteer Fire Department was chartered in 1958. The department provides Fire and Rescue services to a 246 square mile area located on the east side of Chambers County Texas which includes the communities of Winnie and Stowell, along with 13 miles of IH-10 and 16 miles of SH124.
The department holds Training Drills every Tuesday at 7:00pm, except on the third Tuesday of the month, which is set aside for the departments Regular Monthly Business Meeting.
The Winnie-Stowell Volunteer Fire Department operated the Winnie-Stowell Emergency Medical Service up until 1999. The Winnie-Stowell EMS is now a separate organization. However the two organizations continue to work close together to assit with providing our community the best Fire, Rescue, and EMS services possible.
This website was put together to help provide the public in which the fire department serves with as much information as possible. You will find information on the Fire Department, the Winnie-Stowell EMS, Chambers County, Fire Safety and other items that we believe are important to our community. If you believe something needs to be added, please contact us and let us know.
